It’s a beautiful day! Jen was back on the set of The Bounty, looking happy and gorgeous and rocking some adorably tousled locks. As always, she had her filming essentials handy - in some of these pics you can see her script and a bottle of Smartwater. The latter sure comes in handy on a hot day!
She’ll be spending plenty of time on various sets in coming months, too. We recently heard about Pumas, and it seems like movie news comes in twos - today, Life & Style reports that Jen is set to begin filming the 1940’s period musical Goree Girls early next year. She is attached to the project as both star and producer. Sounds interesting - until then, enjoy some more Bounty set pics below the jump!

According to a recent Variety article, Jen is set to produce and star in Pumas, a comedy about women who date younger men. Previously mentioned in Jen’s Vogue interview last fall, the script by Melissa Stack is described by Echo Films partner Kristin Hahn (who is also listed as a producer) as a “high-octane comedy about sexual politics and double standards.”
In addition to Jen and Kristin, the film will be produced by Jon Gordon and Scott Z. Burns, and executive produced by Chris Moore and Barry Littman. Wayne McClammy is set to direct the flick. There is no word yet on a start date, but between this, The Bounty (set to wrap in September), and her upcoming producing duties for Holler, Jen’s going to be very busy in coming months!

It’s another day on the set of The Bounty! After a successful opening weekend for The Ugly Truth, Gerard is back on the set of his latest project, and he and Jen had their work cut out for them! The two stars got wet on the set yesterday, but they weren’t alone in the festivities - their stunt doubles went along for the ride (pictures at PopSugar). Jen’s had her trusty dog Norman keeping her company on location, and it turns out that Gerard has a furry friend of his own! More pics of Jen on set below the jump.
X17 does report some unhappy news - Jen was a passenger in a minor fender bender while leaving the set. Luckily, it does not appear that she or anyone else involved was hurt, but nevertheless, I’m sure that it was quite frightening. I hope she’s okay!

Jen’s Bounty costar Gerard Butler is one of Hollywood’s hottest actors, starring in flicks such as 300 and P.S. I Love You. However, he nearly went down a very different path. He was born in Glasgow, Scotland, and as a young adult he studied to be a lawyer; he was even named president of the law society at Glasgow University. However, life had other plans. The acting bug bit in the mid-’90’s, when he was approached by Steven Berkoff, who cast him in a stage production. Film soon followed, with roles in Tomorrow Never Dies and Tale of the Mummy, and a star was born.
His star has only risen since those days, as his career has gained momentum, particularly in action flicks. Very well known for his role in 300, he’s also shown his chops in flicks such as Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life and Reign of Fire. However, it’s worth noting his versatility, as he has also appeared in musicals (The Phantom of the Opera) and romantic comedies (P.S. I Love You). Of course, The Bounty, an action comedy, spans the genres, and there is no doubt in my mind that this talented actor is well-suited for the challenge. Gerard, who denies recent costar romance rumors, recently referred to the script as “a story that made my side split when I read it,” and it will be equally hilarious brought to life on the big screen.
Gerard can currently be seen in theaters in The Ugly Truth, alongside Grey’s Anatomy star Katherine Heigl. According to Box Office Mojo, the comedy pulled in $27.6 million this past weekend! Congratulations to the cast and crew.

Just kidding! It’s just her “pure zen” Smartwater ad, which I snapped today at the intersection of Clark and Madison here in Chicago. Still gorgeous, don’t you think?
Anyway, Jen’s still in New York, filming The Bounty, although with Gerard’s duties promoting The Ugly Truth, now in theaters, he hasn’t been seen on the set this week. Prior to her late-night scene yesterday, Jen was snapped en route to the set in a more casual ensemble, with baggy boyfriend jeans and some cool Converse sneakers (available on Zappos). Photos are below. She was also snapped enjoying a salad on her way into her trailer - those pics are at I’m Not Obsessed. Her jeans may look distressed, but she sure doesn’t - she makes this relaxed ensemble look good!

How adorable is she? On the set of The Bounty, Jen gave a wave and a big smile to onlookers - I am in love with this pic! Fans in New York have been lucky enough to see her friendly face quite a bit, lately, and some have even been lucky enough to have their picture taken with her! So sweet.

Last night’s scene involved Jen getting behind the wheel of that vintage blue convertible previously driven by Gerard, this time with the hood up. With the car stopped, she had a pensive moment - looks like for all the action and comedy, this script has some serious moments, too. As always, I can’t wait to see her performance on the big screen! More photos below the jump.

Isn’t she lovely? Through the open window of her car, Jen waved to fans en route from the Bounty set yesterday, and made the day brighter for many lucky bystanders. For a few lucky fans, Jen went one further. On-Location Vacations has a picture of Jen with three lucky fans yesterday on the set. How sweet is she?
More photos are under the jump, along with pics of Jen on the set today. Filming was at a liquor store in Queens converted into a makeshift tattoo parlor for filming. The weather eventually made a turn for the worse, but Jen stayed dry under a giant umbrella. And as we’ve seen before, she always looks great in a trench coat!

Lately, Jen’s become more and more involved behind the scenes, as an executive producer for Management and The Baster, and it looks like that streak is about to continue! According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jen is set to executive produce Holler, a tale of racial tensions in the South.
The script, by Dana Adam Shapiro, is inspired by true events; like the recent HBO documentary Prom Night in Mississippi it is the story of a biracial high school student who moves to Mississippi and falls in love with a white girl, only to find that he cannot take her to prom. So far, there has been no word on casting; in addition to Jen, Jeff Mandel will executive produce, and Kristin Hahn and Tracey Durning will produce.

On September 29th, Jen’s film Management will be available on DVD and Blu-ray disk, and it is already available for pre-order on Amazon. It has now been revealed (via Image Entertainment’s website) that the disk’s special features will include the following, on both the DVD and Blu-ray:
- Commentary with writer/director Stephen Belber and costar Steve Zahn
- Deleted scenes
- Gag reel
It’s been a while since one of Jen’s movies has had a full commentary on the DVD, so I’m especially excited about an extra peek behind the scenes of this wonderful movie. And considering the following answer from Jen’s Amazon Q&A, along with the fact that the movie itself was hilarious, I’m sure that the gag reel will be something to see as well:
A: Was it hard to keep a straight face when acting opposite Steve and Woody?
J: What do you think? It was impossible! Steve can just give me a look and I’ll lose it. Pretty much everything he does makes me laugh. I think part of it is because he’s so accessible and open. And Woody and I started cracking up before we even got to the set when we were reading the script to each other on the phone. Laughing while the cameras are rolling on the set is fun, but you’re not supposed to do it. That only makes it harder not to laugh, of course!

Just another day on the Bounty set - Jen spent Friday on the run! She was snapped in Brooklyn filming a scene where her character Casidy had to run from a cab - in heels and a skirt! Jen showed incredible coordination and balance by doing multiple takes of the tricky scene - so when she finally nailed it, she couldn’t help but celebrate with a triumphant gesture and a smile. It’s a tough job, but someone’s gotta do it - and she makes it look really, really good. More of Jen running on the Bounty set under the jump!

Another day on the set! Never one to rest on her laurels, Emmy nominee Jen was hard at work yesterday on her latest project The Bounty. This time, filming was in NYC’s West Village, where an impeccably dressed Jen helped a woman pick up her dog’s poop! No word on whether this action was on camera or off, but either way, she sets a great, responsible example!
Her costar Gerard wasn’t on the set - lately he’s been busy promoting The Ugly Truth, costarring Grey’s Anatomy star Katherine Heigl and opening July 24th. There has been a great deal of speculation about him and Jen, but his remarks while doing the rounds put those rumors to rest. He tells People that he and Jen are just friends - but he does have wonderful things to say about his costar:
“She is one classy lady,” he says of Aniston. “Everyday I go to work with her I’m always surprised about how cool, easy and down to earth and real she is.”
He adds, “I’m in New York right now filming and I’m in heaven. I can’t always say that about movies, but to be filming this romantic comedy with Jennifer and a story that made my side split when I read it – I’m lucky. I’m happy as a pig in s—, as they say.”

Major congratulations are in order for Jen today - she has been nominated for an Emmy! According to the full list of nominations on emmys.tv, Jen is one of the nominees in the Outstanding Guest Actress In A Comedy Series category for her role as Claire Harper on 30 Rock.
Jen is no stranger to the Emmys - she was nominated five times for her work on Friends, and she won for Outstanding Lead Actress In A Comedy Series in 2002. She is in good company this time around - other nominees in her category include Elaine Stritch, Betty White, Tina Fey, Gena Rowlands, and Christine Baranski (who was recently cast in The Bounty, as the mother of Jen’s character Casidy). Also, 30 Rock leads the nominations, with a total of 22 nods. Congratulations to Jen and all the nominees!

In the middle of her very busy schedule, it appears that Jen had the day off from filming yesterday, so how did she spend her day? Shopping! Jen was snapped arriving at the Only Hearts boutique in SoHo, where she had a girls’ day out with a few friends, including her makeup artist Angela Levin.
Only Hearts specializes in “inner outerwear” - in addition to their fashion line, featuring feminine, form-fitting pieces (including a skirt very similar to one that Jen’s been seen in on the set), they carry beautiful intimates, and according to OK!, Jen thought it was all lovely as well and purchased several items. It sounds like she picked up some great finds and had some fun, too. More pictures of Jen arriving at Only Hearts under the jump!

Jen’s popping up all over Chicago! My latest “Jen sighting” is at Michigan and Ontario, on the Magnificent Mile, where she’s making every commuter’s day just a little bit prettier. Once again, it’s all “pure speculation.”
Speaking of speculation, Jen’s been snapped on the Bounty set looking very friendly with her costar Gerard, and speculation has been rampant that they’re, well, more than friendly. INF Daily, the source of these pics, seems particularly convinced of this thinking, as their eyewitnesses say that Jen and Gerard laughed and joked and appeared “intimate.” I can’t say I’m convinced just yet - Jen’s hugged many of her leading men like that! This friendly gesture could be just that - friendly. But as always, time will tell - so what do you think?

. . . the New York Daily News, that is! Yesterday, Jen shot some scenes for The Bounty at the Daily News offices, where her character, Casidy, is a journalist. After several days in the same outfit, Jen seemed very happy to finally wear something new!
Not surprisingly, real Daily News journalists had an inside perspective on yesterday’s filming, as many were in the office at the time (even though their onscreen counterparts are all extras). The Daily News has a story about the scene in the newsroom yesterday - it’s not every day they share space with a film crew! Check out their gallery of photos from inside the office - Jen looked the part of a journalist, and stunning to boot. More pictures of Jen arriving at the Daily News can be found under the jump.
