And it’s not even Rumor Has It . . .
Jen’s upcoming film He’s Just Not That Into You has been at the center of a fair amount of gossip lately. The latest rumor surrounding this project is one first seen in last week’s Life & Style Weekly, in which Jen demanded that costar Jennifer Connelly would not be included in an upcoming Marie Claire cover shoot promoting the flick. Unfortunately, this story, complete with speculation and unnamed sources, has made the rounds online. Such behavior sounds very unlike Jen, but given how widespread the rumor has become, it is not surprising that it has left some gossips scratching their heads.
Fortunately, the story is, as many of us already suspected, a figment of tabloid imagination. Jen’s rep told Us Weekly that the rumors are absurd - and told the L & S rival publication the real story behind the upcoming shoot (while confirming that Jen will, in fact, appear on the cover):
“Marie Claire wanted Jennifer alone,” the rep said. “It was our idea to make it a group cover as Jennifer has a smaller supporting role in the film.”
The magazine “only wanted to put three of them on the cover” and “definitely wanted” Drew Barrymore, according to the rep.
“We recommended Ginnifer Goodwin because she is basically the lead role in the film,” the rep explained.
And contrary to the report, “Jennifer got along great with Jennifer Connelly.”
At a recent event, costar Ginnifer Goodwin echoed these sentiments about the absurdity of these rumors, telling People that her costars were “extremely supportive, collaborative group of gals.” So that settles it. No drama. Just as we thought.
As for that other rumor? Shockingly, HJNTIY is not the only movie coming out on October 24th! There is another movie coming out! Starring another actress! So the rumors are true! Seriously, though, nothing to see here. There is no showdown, other than the comparisons drawn by outside sources. Jen has clearly moved on long ago - and so should we.

Those rumors about Jen & Jennifer Connelly were so strange. I knew it was so unlike Jen and I’m glad her rep cleared it up once and for all.

So looking forward to this movie.Didn’t believe the L&S story ever-I’ve never heard of her not getting along with her costars!
