In this post, I will begin to answer some of the many, many questions that have come my way. Some are more difficult to answer, as I cannot speak for Jen and there are some things that she declines to speak about publicly. Nevertheless, I will do my best. Without any further ado:

It seems that at this moment in time, Jen is single. In the past, she has said that she does not have a set “type,” saying instead that “men in general are a good thing.” As for the future? As she tole Elle magazine, “Past: done. Present: now. Future: none of our business.” With her free-spirited approach, she has the right outlook for whatever the future brings.

I would like to know what a typical day is like for Jen. Does she still do yoga? What kind of tunes does she like at the moment. Is she happy? What kind of nutrition is she eating?

It seems that she is still doing yoga; her instructor, Mandy Ingber, went with her to Hawaii recently, and the pictures from that outing make evident that she is doing something right! In the past, Jen was known to adhere to the Zone diet, but it does seem that in recent years she has loosened up and taken a more intuitive approach to her body’s needs - and is glowing for it. She is a longtime classic rock fan, showing a particular affinity for Aerosmith, and she was also spotted catching the recent Police reunion tour. As for whether she’s happy? Only Jen can answer that for sure.

According to Contact Music, Jessica Biel, who is quite the rising star herself, sees Jen as an inspiration, not least of all for her approachable demeanor onscreen and off:

She says, “I couldn’t survive without my girlfriends. It’s what I love about Drew Barrymore or Jennifer Aniston. I’ve watched them in films and I think, I love her. I would really want to be her friend. “I’d love it if people could think that about me. I can’t quite put my finger on (the quality they have), but I guess it’s not taking yourself so seriously.”

It is always nice to hear such praise from within the industry; Jessica has very good taste!

We’re all used to hearing some out-there rumors; in between Elvis sightings and alien abductions, some strange things have happened involving Jen as well. Last week, there was one particularly, er, alien rumor going around. I will not repeat it here, as I don’t want to even remotely contribute to its spread, but I can see the grains of truth that led to its formulation, albeit in a most roundabout way.

So I’d like to hear from you: What is the strangest Jen rumor you’ve ever heard? Also, why do you think that the rumor was spread, i.e. what facts, if any, led to the published conclusion?

The Daily Mail brings us a picture of Jen leaving Nobu, supposedly with Paul in tow. So far there doesn’t seem to be a picture of them together, but other sources report seeing him leave the restaurant very near the same time as Jen. Paul or no Paul, she looks lovely as always!

So, it’s been reported that Jen was spotted at the recent premiere of Love and Other Disasters. E’s Reel Girl gives us some interesting details from this sighting (interestingly, no pictures have surfaced). Stay tuned!

Director Alek Keshishian’s Love and Other Disasters—a romantic comedy about a Vogue intern (Brittany Murphy) who wants love for all—screened Thursday night at the Directors Guild. SmartWater spokesmodel Jennifer Aniston showed up with a bunch of people from her production squad, along with her manager, Aleen Keshishian. Aleen and Alek are brother and sister.

Still with me? Good.

So, at the premiere, Alek tells people he’s working with David Fincher (he of Fight Club and Panic Room) on something but can’t give any details. And suits, crafty and Sherlockian as they are, start to connect the dots. Aniston and Aleen are attached at the hip. Aniston’s producing partners are in the house. Sure, this could be just a friendly affair. But it could also be that Aniston will be appearing in Fincher and Keshishian’s mysterious project.

OK! brings us a very interesting tidbit; apparently, Jen and Paul have been spotted shopping for baby items!

On July 17, the former Friends star and her chiseled boy toy, dressed alike in jeans and tees, went shopping together for baby products at the exclusive Petit Tresor boutique in the exclusive Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles.”They were holding hands and whispering quietly to each other,” an eyewitness reveals exclusively to OK!. “Jen appeared to be very happy. They were acting like a married couple while shopping for various baby-related items like cribs, diaper bags and changing tables.” According to the source, Jen, who often shops at the trendy store on Hollywood’s hip Robertson Boulevard, for her friends with babies, was also asking the sales staff about delivery options. The couple left the store with a $195 blue cashmere bear from Alvin & Sparky.

Requisite grain of salt and all, but there’s more: according to the Gossip Girls, there are pictures of this outing. As this would be the first real photograph of the happy couple, it seems that there is something of a bidding war for their release. Stay tuned.

Faded Youth brings us yet another pic of Jen in her driveway. While the article refers to her as “single again” (and depending on which tabloid you ask, either that’s true or she’s getting married), it does seem curious that the photogs continue to stake out her driveway for the Jen-and-Paul money shot.

By now, a lot of you have noticed magazines manipulating images in misleading ways, such as this recent example that Gawker points out. Well, a few years back, Redbook provided us with the mother of all manipulations.

Recognize the woman on the cover of Redbook’s June 2003 cover? Apparently each and every part in that photograph belongs to Jen, which then makes it totally ok to mix and match for your very own limited-edition FrankenJen. Wanting the sales boost that Jen’s image gives without the expense and effort of a new photoshoot, the mag whipped up this little treat.

A rep for the mag maintained that “The photo was taken while Jennifer was on tour promoting ‘The Good Girl.’ The only things that were altered in the cover photo were the color of her shirt and the length of her hair, very slightly, in order to reflect her current length.” The above pic, from which the torso appears to be lifted, is actually from a 2000/early 2001 Voxxy shoot. The face appears to be from a paparazzi shot. And they just had to alter her hair to make it current, because sadly no photographs were taken of our girl between early 2001 and mid-2003. At all.

On that note, yes, I know that a particular media source reported major Jen-and-Paul news. I have chosen not to comment until it seems legit or I hear otherwise.

Remember the party a couple of weeks ago for Laura Day? Well, E!’s Hollywood Party Girl was there, and brings us a very interesting tidbit:

Now that Jennifer Aniston is the face of Smartwater, her face is plastered on billboards all along Sunset Boulevard. As I drive the five minutes from my apartment to the newly opened One Sunset restaurant, I see Jen looking down on me with a Glamour Shots smile. My gut tells me I’ll be seeing more of that grin in just a bit. Sure enough, as I arrive at Kevin Huvane and Ryan Kavanaugh’s party for intuitionist and Welcome to Your Crisis author Laura Day, Ms. Aniston is on the red carpet and radiating beauty brighter than the flashes eagerly capturing her presence.

While Jordana Brewster chats with friends, Jen catches up with pal Bradley Cooper. I’ve never seen Aniston look so beautiful. Her rumored new boyfriend, Paul Sculfor, isn’t here tonight, but he must be doing something right in private. Just as I’m wondering what the model and the actress’ babies might look like, a gold band catches my eye—on Jen’s ring finger! But don’t get too excited, because it’s on her right hand. As many have commented, and this firsthand account confirms, it seems that there is something making Jen very happy right now! Here’s hoping that the good times continue.

Looks like the security staff at L.A.’s Tower Bar has some new, high-profile fans. From the New York Post:

Last week, an entertainment freelance reporter for one of the weeklies was unceremoniously booted after she was caught texting people that Jennifer Aniston was there with her new beau, Paul Colford. “Security was called and she was told to never come back,” our insider said. But the journo didn’t go quietly - “She made a huge stink and started screaming.” As she was being tossed, “The entire bar - including [Aniston], Bernie Brillstein, Kate Hudson and [former Paramount head] Donald Deline - started applauding, and some people even stood up.”

Presumably, Colford=Sculfor. Anyway, good to know that there are those ensuring that Jen can enjoy a night out with her man.

Monsters and Critics informs us that Jen and Paul have kept rather busy:

Jennifer Aniston has told her new man he is better in bed than her ex-husband Brad Pitt.

The former ‘Friends’ actress is currently dating former builder Paul Sculfor and is said to be very impressed with his bedroom skills.

Her close friend Tiffany Laws said: “He bought Jen a huge bunch of flowers, then had chocolates and champagne delivered. She loved that. Jen goes by what her heart is telling her, and the initial indications are really good. She’s not bothered about gossip. She will give him a chance to show he’s the right guy for her.”

Grain of salt and all that, as it appears to be hearsay and the named source is not known to be in Jen’s inner circle, but it surely is lovely to know that Jen’s new man is making her very, very happy.

X17 Online brings us pics of Jen arriving at Shutters on the Beach, the hotel at which it is said that one Paul Sculfor is staying. Not that this bit of information is at all related to the fact that Jen visited the hotel twice in one day, mind you. Clearly, she’s there for the world-class raquetball courts. And if anybody deserves a good game of raquetball with a quality opponent, it’s Jen.

This weekend brought some Paul sightings and speculation:

- On Saturday, he was seen out at dinner with a group of friends including Victoria Beckham. Paul has been friends with Victoria for years, leading some to believe that Jen will be part of Posh’s new LA posse.

- Later that evening, he arrived at Jen’s Malibu house and left the following morning wearing the same clothes . . . and carrying a Smartwater bottle!

- Many of Paul’s friends have come out of the woodwork with tidbits about his past and their impressions of Jen. His dad, interestingly, wasn’t even familiar with Jen’s work prior to Paul’s involvement with her but so far seems to be impressed. A friend of Paul’s was Jen’s next-door neighbor a few years ago, presumably during her marriage to Brad, and only had wonderful things to say about her sweet, down-to-earth nature.

Jen’s friends, presumably a bit more wary of the media, are keeping mum, but it does seem that she is in for a wonderful time, given the privacy that she so deserves.

In March 2005, ShoWest presented Jen with the Female Star of the Year award, in large part due to her recent prolific streak (Rumor Has It, Derailed, Friends With Money). The timing of the award, however, allowed celebrity watchers to assign a whole other meaning to the appearance, as this would be her first public appearance since announcing her separation. Many eagerly anticipated this as a coming-out of sorts, due to the sensationalist nature of recent media coverage.

Like any other time, however, Jen navigated this evening with class and good humor. Looking understated and chic in a little black dress, she spent much of the evening with a smile on her face. She very graciously gave interviews to Access Hollywood and the Hollywood Reporter in which she expressed gratitude to her fans and optimism about the future. As on many other occasions, here she showed the right way to handle the sometimes glaring spotlight of the public eye.

People has revealed that Jen’s dirty blond “mystery man” is British model Paul Sculfor, most famous for his Levi’s advertisements:

The case is solved: It’s 36-year-old British model Paul Sculfor, and the pair already have been dating for several weeks, PEOPLE reveals in its latest cover story, on newsstands Friday.

“He’s a lovely guy,” says his friend and former flame, London socialite Lady Victoria Hervey. “A gentleman. Simple things, like opening doors, he does all that. He’ll think of the woman before himself.”
