Just a few tidbits to get you through your weekend:

Rumor has it that Jen is considering a move to New York, for both professional and personal reasons. Us Weekly reported the story a few days ago (citing the ubiquitous “insiders” and “sources”), and the story has spread like wildfire since:

Jennifer Aniston: Leaving L.A. for Manhattan?

Jennifer Aniston may be going back to her first love: New York City. Pals tell Us Weekly the NYC native is considering getting back to her roots and moving back home.

“She feels she needs a boost in her life and she can meet all kinds of people there.And she can meet men,” says a friend of the star, 38, who spent five days in the city on business the second week of March.

Says a pal, “She’s revisiting the Broadway idea.”

(Last October Aniston took to the stage in the one-night show The 24 Hour Plays.)

While in town the second week of March, sources tell Us the actress kept it low key, ordering room service at the swank Lowell Hotel and popping into Hermès a half hour before closing to quietly do some shopping.

She also visited an apartment building where Harvey Keitel (who starred in Be Cool with her ex-beau Vince Vaughn) is a resident.

Is she gearing up to make a move from her $30,000-a-month Malibu rental?

The insider confirms, “She’s thinking about it.”

(Her rep had no comment.)

While she’d totally rock a stage gig on the Great White Way, I’m not sure that I believe this one. She just bought a place in California, and so much of her network is there that it would be hard for her to leave full-time. Then again, she could afford to keep places on both coasts. Again, so far it’s all “sources,” so I’m not buying into it just yet.

Also, Jen is in the running in a new People.com poll: Who has the best haircut in Hollywood?. So far Jen is in second place to Reese Witherspoon, and while Reese’s new haircut is really cute, we all know that Jen’s the queen.

Finally, in the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day, Leprechaun is my flick pick for the weekend. It’s better over Guinness.
