Costar Jennifer Connelly
Jen’s not the only Jennifer in her upcoming release He’s Just Not That Into You - as seen above, she costars with the lovely, talented Jennifer Connelly, who plays her coworker Janine. Ms. Connelly was born and raised in New York and got her start as a model, appearing in magazines such as Seventeen - however, it was as an actress that she would gain the most notice. As a teen, she began her career with roles in Once Upon A Time In America, Labyrinth, and Some Girls.
As Jennifer reached adulthood, her career really flourished, as she took on roles in Mulholland Falls, Inventing The Abbotts, and Pollock. In 2000, she appeared in Requiem for a Dream, playing the challenging part of Marion Silver in the drug-themed drama. She followed up this haunting performance by playing Alicia Nash in A Beautiful Mind, and she won an Academy Award for her role.
Ever since then, her resume has grown even more diverse, acting in films such as Hulk, Blood Diamond, Reservation Road, and The Day The Earth Stood Still. And of course, He’s Just Not That Into You, in theaters on February 6th. She is married to actor Paul Bettany and has two children, Stellan and Kai.
Recently, Jennifer had some wonderful things to say about another Jennifer - you guessed it, that Jennifer. In a recent interview with British Harper’s Bazaar, one of many topics covered was her upcoming film and her costars - here’s what she had to say about Jen:
“I thought she was such a sweetheart,” Connelly says of Aniston, “I’ve always thought she was very talented and lovely, warm, generous and after the film I thought, ‘Ooh I want to be her friend. I want to hang out with her.’”
I, for one, cannot wait to see the lovely ladies onscreen together - meanwhile, here’s Ms. Connelly outside the Late Show with David Letterman on December 8:
