Jen and John spend Election Night with friends

Jen has been an Obama supporter since early in his campaign - as early as February 2007, she showed her support, both monetary and moral, through her attendance at an Obama fundraiser, and more recently she urged Americans to register and vote by appearing in a PSA earlier this fall, alongside several other stars. So where was she when he triumphed on Tuesday night?
X17 snapped Jen and John leaving an election-viewing party at Courteney’s house - and the results left David in such a good mood that he even shared some bubbly with the paparazzi! Or perhaps he was creating a diversion - Jen and John tried to sneak out, with Jen hiding behind John, but the paps did get a few shots in. According to PopSugar, Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher were in attendance as well - and sure enough, even Borat wanted us to get out and vote!
And vote we did - the Wall Street Journal is reporting the highest voter turnout since 1968. Millions of Americans tuned in to see the results as they happened - everyone I know was either at the Grant Park extravaganza or glued to their TV sets. It might not have been as crazy that night in LA as it was here in Chicago, but throughout the country, the victory of our new President-elect was a night - and a moment - that nobody would forget.

Erin this was an awesome election and I got my vote in and just wept when they announced Obama’s name as president. I was born in Jamaica, but all my jamaican family & friends now US citizens voted with joy..to see this historical moment, and I am proud that Jennifer Aniston whom I admire as an actress supported Obama. Thanks again Erin for your posts each week.
