Jen and onscreen motherhood
While Jen doesn’t have any children in real life, judging by her onscreen roles, she’d be a natural. She has often played the part of a mother or expectant mother, and always brings warmth and realism to the part. Here is a sampling of such roles (some may be spoilerish):
Friends At the end of season 7, it was revealed that Rachel was expecting, and a season later, she and Ross welcomed Emma. The remainder of the series saw Rachel juggling the demands of parenting with work, love, and life.
The Object of My Affection The story takes its turn when Jen’s Nina finds herself expecting a child; flash forward a few years, and little Molly has quite the extended family.

The Iron Giant In this animated flick, Jen plays mom Annie Hughes to spirited young Hogarth.
The Good Girl One of this film’s many twists is that after trying for ages with her husband, Justine becomes pregnant - just when it’s determined that Phil can’t get her pregnant.
Derailed Well, Lucinda did carry around a picture of a little girl in her wallet . . .

I enjoyed watching Jen in her rol of Rachel as a mother. Every scene with the baby was incredible sweet and natural. I can wait to see her with her own children
