Jen to receive Women In Film honor
Congratulations to Jen! According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jen has been chosen to receive this year’s Crystal Award, which is Women In Film’s award for excellence in film:
Aniston will be this year’s recipient of the Crystal Award for Excellence in Film. The Emmy-winning “Friends” actress has moved on to a film career with movies as various as the offbeat romantic comedies “The Break-Up” and “Along Came Polly” and indie efforts like “The Good Girl.” Most recently, she has appeared in “Marley & Me” and “He’s Just Not That Into You” and next stars in “The Baster” and “Bounty Hunter.”
The awards ceremony is set to take place on June 12th. Others to be honored by Women In Film include Holly Hunter (Lucy Award for television), Elizabeth Banks (Face of the Future), Catherine Hardwicke (Directors’ Award), and Petra Korner (Kodak Vision Award for cinematography).
Jen is not one to rest on her laurels, either. The day after the Management screening at Landmark’s Sunshine Cinema, she was hard at work back on the set of The Baster. Jen was casually attired, in jeans and a sweater, and she had a bottle of Smartwater in her hand - pictures are at Gossip Girls.
