Love, Meg

It isn’t often that your favorite celebrity becomes a literary character. However, this recent novel by C. Leigh Purtill features Jen in a very unique way, and it is an easy, yet heartfelt, read for all ages.

Meg Shanley has been raised by her older sister Lucie; with their parents gone, all they have is each other. However, through financial hardship and a multitude of relocations, Meg has found that the one constant in her life is Friends repeats every night, and sure enough, she feels that her real family is on the TV. For years now, she has written to Jennifer Aniston for the sage advice that she never seems to get from flighty Lucie, and believe it or not, Jen writes back with the kind of support that Meg only wishes that she could find at home. Then, Meg discovers a major secret, and the biggest move of all is hers alone to make.

This book is a fast, engaging read, with surprising twists and colorful characters. It is available at Amazon and at most major book retailers.

    Wow, that sounds pretty interesting, I’d like to buy it (God knows ‘Friends’ is pretty much my one constant now, lol) And hopefully its a book I can read in like a night cause I have tons of school reading piling on me. Oy.

    It’s a work of fiction, so not true… However, the way it’s used in the book is very cool.

    thanks for the awesome review, erin! i’m still waiting to hear from jen herself about the book. we sent her a galley months ago and she even requested a second copy but no response yet. i’m dying to know what she thinks!!
