Reality TV and Jen
Jen’s own venture into reality TV is at the rumor stage at this point; however, it seems that reality TV already loves Jen.
One prime example is in the new Bravo series Shear Genius. Allison from Reality on Bravo gives us a recap of a recent Celebrity Hair Challenge in which the stylists were asked to recreate the clients’ dream celebrity hairstyles. Not surprisingly, one client sought to imitate Jen’s hair, specifically the tousled look that she sported at the Derailed premiere:

Here is the before and after, as executed by contestant Lacey:

Also worth noting: Theodore, another contestant on the series, cites Jen’s stylist Chris as an inspiration. For his impeccable taste alone, the lad should win . . . alas, he’s already out.
Taking emulation to a more disturbing extreme is MTV’s series I Want A Famous Face. In one episode, a young woman by the name of Kelly wants to look more like Jen in order to boost her confidence following her own divorce. She is then given a combination of cosmetic procedures, but really, it is impossible to capture Jen’s unique beauty in anybody else. Not only does Jen have an external appearance that nobody else does, but what makes Jen glow is intangible. I’ll excuse myself before I get too cornball about it, but kids, don’t try this at home.
